Irema Ireland, leading manufacturer of disposable face masks for medical applications, has announced the establishment of Irema (Thailand) Co. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary. Operating from a 10,000 sq.m facility in Sumut Sahkron, south of Bangkok, Irema Thailand operates as a satellite manufacturing facility for Irema Ireland.
The Irema Thailand production plant was built to meet the global demand in the face mask sector. All masks are manufactured to European quality standards.
Announcing this expansion of its manufacturing base, the company will now have two production lines in Thailand in addition to the six production lines in its factory in Ireland. This expansion provides Irema with the opportunity to further develop its market presence in Asia and the Americas.
