John Rice
Chairman and founder
A graduate of the University of Limerick with 30 years experience in filtration and related industries, John led engineering and sales teams in multinational organisations before founding Irema Ireland. He is committed to developing Irema as the partner of choice for air filters, air filtration material and disposable medical face masks in Europe.

Paul Hussey
Managing Director
Paul joined Irema as Managing Director in June 23. Before joining Irema, Paul spent over 30 years in Hong Kong/Asia in a variety of roles including CEO of Strix Ltd, as well as CEO of Harvard Technology. His previous position was COO of Aquila Health Ltd, a medical equipment manufacturer.
Paul has a BSc in business from Trinity College, Dublin and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a Law Degree from Hong Kong University.

Geraldine Ryan
Finance Director
A qualified CPA accountant, Geraldine has worked in the accountancy field for over 25 years. She joined the Irema team in 1997, was appointed the Financial Controller in 2001 and Finance Director in 2006. Her expertise in a manufacturing environment ensures that the business is adequately resourced at all times.

Sean Cooke
Strategic Business Development Manager
Sean has over 25 years of international sales management and business development experience in Europe, USA, Asia and Middle East. He has an exceptional ability to identify, focus and execute pivotal priorities. He has demonstrated a unique method of building client relationships through decisive and efficient communication and through adding consistent value to the customer and their business.

Denis Murphy
Production Manager
A graduate of the University College Cork, Denis has over 30 years experience working as a Production Manager in planning and production and supply chain management. Denis is responsible for ensuring the daily management of the production facility, guaranteeing the seamless delivery of customer orders.

Ita Pattman
Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager
Ita Pattman has a long and healthy career in ensuring excellent product quality. She joined Irema in August 2023 from Stryker, a Medical Devices manufacturer and before this Kostal Ireland, which manufactures electronic products for the automotive industry.
Ita has a BSc in Quality and NFQ Level 8 in Quality Assurance and Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs from Atlantic Technological University, Sligo. She has also previously studied Physics and Electronics at Munster Technological University and has Certificates in Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Sharon Dunne
Customer Support Specialist
Sharon has worked at Irema Ireland since 2001 in sales support, materials buying and customer service management. She is a methodical, calm, diligent and highly organised administration manager. She has worked in multinational groups, successful indigenous manufacturers both in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Her experience is in working with customers, distributors and colleagues across continents. Sharon has gained a reputation as an efficient, friendly and accurate colleague and key point of contact for customers. Nothing fazes her and she brings a strong sense of purpose and professionalism to the workplace.
Agnes Lyko
Supply Chain Manager
Agnes joined Irema in 2016 as Supply Chain Manager. She has worked in a variety of roles including accounting, quality and production planning over the last 25 years. Prior to joining Irema, she spent 9 years in the air filtration industry as Planning and Production Manager.
Now as Supply Chain Manager, Agnes identifies business requirements and manages the procurement process to recruit high quality products and suppliers.
She has a Master’s graduate in Marketing and Management from Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland.
